Chapter 30

Eternity from the Creator for man

The theory of eternal existence shows that it is time to better understand eternity. This is connected with understanding the source of eternity, i.e. the existence of the Original Being. The concept of eternity is almost identical with the concept of infinity, although eternity is more related to the passage of time, and infinity to the lack of limitation of space. An example that combines these concepts is our eternity in the infinity of a state beyond time and space.

The concept of man proclaimed by the theory of eternal existence is based on an eternal relationship with the Creator, who through His paternity gave us His attributes. Namely, a man, receiving a spiritual person from the Creator at birth, becomes an eternal being himself. Our lives from that moment on will last indefinitely, although we spend the first few decades in earthly reality. In the concept of the Original Being, the physical life of man should serve us in reaching perfection. Achieving this state is like a pass to eternal life in the company of a perfect Creator.

Eternity, perfection and absoluteness are, according to the theory of eternal existence, the main characteristics of the Creator. Since He is the only Source Being, His attributes are the most perfect model of eternity, perfection and absoluteness. Of course, this also applies to His other attributes, as they are related to the main ones. The eternity of the Original Being results directly from the state of His Personality. It is stretched from infinity to infinity. From this definition it follows that there can be nothing more eternal than His infinity. In general, infinity is recognized not only by scientists, but it also functions in human consciousness.

It is worth realizing that the concept of God, regardless of religious theories trying to define it in different ways, is the only absolute anchor of eternity in the history of mankind. Not only believers in Him, but also those who do not believe in any gods presented by religions, must admit that God is a timeless value that gives a kind of stable starting point for our civilization. Almost every person admits that if there is a God, then He should be perfect, absolute and, of course, eternal. These are His features that we need in the face of changes in the universe, because only they are absolutely stable. The Creator must be eternal, because this sets the maximum limit of our imagination. We just need such value in a world where most things are imperfect and transient. The human psyche needs an absolute value, although it may be unattainable and very mysterious. An eternal, perfect and absolute God is essential to us. And the Original Being is like that in reality. Unnecessarily, most religions create a different image of Him for their immediate purposes.

In summary, the theory of eternal existence shows that the features of the Original Being described above are those that should be taken into account in order to understand our own eternity. All others follow from them. It is also worth understanding that apart from these features, the Original Being is also absolutely good, which results from His attributes constituting His Personality. Here I focused only on His eternity.
